More Details

The late President was on Friday buried at the Geese Park now renamed the Asomdwee (Peace) Park near the Osu Castle, where he served for three-and-a-half-years as the President of Ghana.

Speaking at the grave side on behalf of the family, Dr. Mills said doctors together with some family members tried their very best to resuscitate the President without success.

The cause of Prof. Mills’ death has generated lot of controversy with some sections of the public advocating a Coroner’s Inquest to establish the cause of death of the late President.

Dr. Cadman Mills’ revelation of the cause of death is the first time the family of the late President is speaking on the issue.

The late President died at the 37 Military Hospital, Tuesday 24th July, 2012.
