The New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo, has insisted that the strategy of the party has not changed following the demise of late President John Evans Atta Mills.

Political analysts have predicted that the campaign message and strategy of the main opposition party may change since the NDC is presenting a new candidate.

But speaking in an interview with Citi News, Nana Akufo-Addo said the NPP will attack the record of the NDC in office not personalities.

“Our target is the record,” he said.

“A Vice President who claimed that he was virtually the President in charge of this, in charge of that, and critically in charge of the management of the economy, chairman of the economic management team; for us this election is about the management of the economy,” he explained.

The NPP flagbearer further stated that the message of the party during its political campaigning “will allow Ghanaians to decide for themselves whether they want to continue with that record or bring another group of people to make a different record.”
