Bernice Ansah Gets Three Nominations

CELEBRATED GOSPEL musician Bernice Ansah has been tipped to win three awards at the forthcoming Ghana Music Awards slated for the Accra International Conference Centre on April 14.
Bernice Ansah, who has been nominated in the Gospel Artiste of the Year, Gospel Song of the Year and Gospel Album of the Year categories, told BEATWAVES that she would sweep all the three awards she had been nominated for.
According to her, even though there were some key contenders for the awards, she stood out, adding that Ghanaians loved her songs because they lifted the souls of everyone.
Bernice Ansah is competing with Lady Prempeh, Gifty Osei, Philipa Baafi, Selina Boateng, Jake Alolome and DSP Kofi Sarpong for the Gospel Song of the Year category.
She is also competing with Philipa Baafi, Selina Boateng,Lady Prempeh, Diana Antwi Hamilton and Gifty Osei for the Gospel Album of the Year award.
The Gospel Artiste of the Year category has Bernice up against DSP Kofi Sarpong, Gifty Osei, Philipa Baafi, Lady Prempeh and Selina Boateng.
Bernice Ansah urged all her fans to vote overwhelmingly for her through short codes, 07-1767 and GS 1767 on all networks. The package for this year’s awards includes GH¢ 2,000 for each winner, and GH¢ 10,000 for the Artiste of the Year. The winner of the World Bank Sponsored Music for Development category will also take home a cash prize of GH¢ 5,000.
