By Eugene Osafo-Nkansah
Credible information reaching Peacefmonline.com indicates that renowned Ghanaian comedian, simply called “Water Proofâ€, is dead.
The actor and comedian’s sudden death according to our information, occurred in the early hours of yesterday, Tuesday December 14th, 2009.
A close relative of Water Proof by name Awura Abena who said she is the late comedians' step daughter confirmed her step father’s death to Peacefmonline in an exclusive interview.
According to Awura Abena, John Grahl affectionately called “Water Proofâ€, was taken ill yesterday morning and was sent to the Mampong Hospital where he met his untimely death at exactly 10am.
“He was very strong throughout the morning. There was nothing wrong with him. He started complaining he was sick and that he should be taken to the hospital. He was sent to the hospital and was pronounced death. So as at now we don’t even know what killed him,†Awura Abena narrated.
She explained that, this is the only information she can give for now, because the family is yet to receive the doctor’s report which will determine what led to her step father's death.
