Rawlings & Akufo-Addo’s Meeting Is Conspiracy
15 October 2012
Outspoken man-of-conviction, Dr. Anthony Aidoo, has for the first time, taken off his gloves in the matter concerning the disgraceful manner in which former President and founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings, is allowing his wife to make him misconduct himself, reducing him to nothingness.
Dr. Tony Aidoo is not hiding the fact that he has decided to wear his heart on his sleeves, after obviously restraining himself from commenting on the unacceptable manner in which JJ Rawlings has become a sissy; and is working hand-in-glove with the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) aiming at destroying the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Speaking in a short outburst on Radio Gold’s Alhaji & Alhaji programme last Saturday, 13 October 2012, Dr. Tony Aidoo put it out emphatically that, the meeting between Rawlings and Akufo-Addo was nothing short of a grand conspiracy to do the bidding of Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings; whose main agenda, is to destroy the NDC.
According to the NDC firebrand, he was shocked at the way certain persons are trying hard to put Rawlings and Akufo-Addo on a high pedestal for meeting to supposedly discuss matters of national interest.
“That meeting between Rawlings and Akufo-Addo is nothing but a grand conspiracy to ditch the NDC”, Dr. Tony Aidoo said in an angry tone.
According to the die-hard Dr. Aidoo, who is certainly one of standing bastions as regards the NDC’s Social Democracy philosophy, it is about time that members of the NDC joined hands in making sure that Rawlings is told the truth in the face that the party can no longer contend with his wayward ways.
According to Tony Aidoo, many a time, he has stood alone when it comes to fighting to safeguard the principles for which the party stands, and has oft times ended up, a victim of his stance.
In the words of Tony Aidoo, “this time, I am not going to fight this battle alone; we must all join hands to fight”.
Tony Aidoo’s outburst is a clear manifestation of how many hard-core NDC members are becoming sick and tired, and can no longer stomach the baloney that is going on. Most certainly, the meeting between Rawlings and Akufo-Addo is the product of the conspiratorial work started by Kofi Adams and Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko.
It would be recalled that after Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings was gargantuanly disgraced in Sunyani, when she attempted to become the flagbearer of the NDC, Mr. Kofi Adams and Gabby were caught on tape, conspiring to plot the destruction and defeat of the NDC.
In that conversation, inter alia, Kofi Adams proposed that he and Gabby “meet outside the country” to finalise their plans to ensure that the “NDC does not get a second term”.
Indeed, Kofi Adams, whose treachery is beyond that of, Judas Iscariot and Brutus put together, is currently on suspension as Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, because of that conversation with Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko.
It is not beyond logical extrapolation to conclude that, Mr. Rawlings and his wife were part of Kofi Adams and Gabby’s conspiracy that is why even though Kofi was caught red-handed, Rawlings still referred to him as a man of “integrity”.
If the likes of Kofi Adams and Akufo-Addo have become the yardstick with which Rawlings is now measuring integrity, it comes as no surprise that lots of FONKAR and NDP members are re-joining the NDC because, true integrity, is the legacy that President Atta Mills had left for the NDC.
