Retire all “Born Before Technology” leaders compulsorily – University Don
Vice President of Ghana Technology University College (GTUC), Dr. Robert Awuah Baffour has proposed that government should forcefully retire leaders of state organizations who are technologically deficient and embrace young leaders who are more abreast with technology.
Speaking with Adom News at the 12th Matriculation Ceremony of the school, Dr. Awuah Baffour said Ghana is lagging behind in terms of technology and therefore “we need to set our priorities right if we want change.”
He stated that until Ghana got rid of the “born before technology” leaders, it would be impossible to take technology in this country to a new height.
Dr. Awuah Baffuor added that improving technology in Ghana is not a fight for government alone but parents and individuals should also invest in their children’s education instead of drinking themselves to death.
He observed that the country has limited resources but we but we endeavor to ensure that technology is properly integrated in our educational structure so as to build a good foundation for the future.
Dr. Awuah Baffuor said attitudinal mindset of the common Ghanaian must be changed for the betterment of the country.
Meanwhile, 451 fresh men and women went through matriculation, out of which 367 were males and 84 were females.
